Manage price groups in 52ViKING Store Management

This topic is primarily for administrators and other people who manage a Fiftytwo solution

You may need to have particular user rights in order to use this functionality. Ask your Fiftytwo administrator if you're in doubt.

With a price group, you can quickly edit the price of multiple articles in one go. When you create a price group, and place the required articles in that price group, the price of all articles in the price group will change if you edit the price of one of the articles in the price group.

Example: Your store sells 100 different types of packets of flower seeds. Some are slightly more expensive than others.
You specify a price group, A, for the cheap ones and another price group, B, for the more expensive ones.
You then associate all the cheap ones with price group A and specify a price of EUR 1.50 for one of the articles in that price group to make all articles in price group A inherit that price.
You then associate all the more expensive ones with price group B and specify a price of EUR 2.00 for one of the articles in that price group to make all articles in price group B inherit that price.
If you later need to adjust the price of the seeds, you can simply adjust the price of one article from each of the two price groups rather than adjust the price of each of the 100 types of packets of seeds.

You can manage price groups for a single store as well as for multiple stores at the same time in 52ViKING Store Management. Here, we primarily describe 52ViKING Store Management for single-store management, but if you've set up synchronization between your chain's enterprise controller and your stores' store controllers, you can use 52ViKING Store Management for chain-wide store management as well.
